Torresol Energy obtains the OHSAS 18001 certificate for Occupational Risk Prevention

Last July, Torresol Energy O&M was awarded SPRL-196/2012 certification in recognition to its compliance to the health and safety management system under OHSAS 18001:2007 standards, having undergone an auditing process conducted by Audelco, occupational health and safety auditors.

The OSHAS 18001 certificate recognises that Torresol Energy O&M has implemented an appropriate health and safety policy and demonstrates sufficient concern for managing occupational hazards within the company. This is one of the basic pillars of the Torresol Energy Group.

By being awarded and implementing OHSAS 18001, Torresol Energy O&M aims to increase safety of both its own people and of the employees of partner companies. In addition, it aims to improve plant operations by identifying, assessing and managing the risks associated with each role, comply with current legislation related to the Prevention of Occupational Risk and disseminate its safety culture among the people who form part of Torresol Energy Group as well as those who are directly or indirectly involved in its activities.
